About

My name is Amira by birth and by right. I walk this Earth with a slow, steady pace, hoping to reach some great destination. I am a freelance writer/researcher, aspiring supermodelmom, jaded ex-school teacher, painter, and dreamer with a love/hate relationship with Love itself. I converted to Islam in 2008 while studying abroad in London. This is my reaffirmed space. These posts are my experience.

  1. I’m so proud of you, Amira. While I am not Muslim, and do define myself as a Christian, I sincerely respect and admire your tenacity and never ending desire to learn. It’s refreshing to see in a peer.

I want to hear of your travels when you return.

    God Bless,
    Lisa Duncan
